Rex's Story...
Rex is a 4 yr old Setter and Pointer mix. The picture doesn't do him justice, he is a real beauty.

If you are interested in adopting Rex, please call Susan at 678-488-7269 or send us an email at fischersadopt@gmail.com.

Ms. Susan rescued all of us from a high-kill shelter right before our time was up. Each dog is given the love and attention they need to transition to a loving family. They have been socialized in a home environment, are crate-trained, can walk on a leash and must have a fenced yard.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rex, a Cumming Setter (Unknown Type)/Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Setter (Unknown Type)/Pointer for sale in Cumming, or seeking a Setter (Unknown Type)/Pointer dog from a breeder in Cumming.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cumming already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cumming breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Setter (Unknown Type)/Pointer breeders who help with Setter (Unknown Type)/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cumming paves the way for another one to be saved.
