Keiko's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Keiko's Story...
Keiko is Japanese for Blessed Child. I was called and ask to help out one day at our local kill shelter, they were short handed and needed some help. If I hadn't got that call then I never would have seen Keiko, so it was a blessing that they needed help as they planned on putting her to sleep the next day to make room for new dogs. She is just so sweet and loving, very playful, great with other dogs and cats. She is going to be a great dog for someone. She is spayed, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, flea and tick, heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $400, if you would like more information, please contact us.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Keiko, a Hartford Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie for sale in Hartford, or seeking a Collie puppy from a breeder in Hartford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hartford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hartford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie breeders who help with Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hartford paves the way for another one to be saved.
