My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Poppy: 9 mth old chocolate female, to be spayed 5/20/11, docked tail and uncropped ears. 10", 8 lb. Owner give-up.
Our gardens are starting to bloom and the newest flower to lift her beautiful face to the sun is Poppy. 9 month old, chocolate, female, to be spayed 5/20/11 and ready for adoption on June 4th, 2011. As in Flanders Field the poppies grow this loving pup will not be forgotten. Poppy is very energetic, full of fun, always ready for a good long walk, run or car ride with her natural ears blowing in the wind, and loves to play with her toys. Poppy has one unique quality....she can jump and climb a 5 foot fence, we think she is training for the Olympics. A 6 ft fence is a must with this athletic girl. She would be an excellent prospect for agility competition. Poppy is good with small children and all dogs big and small, well she just pretty much loves everybody. She is the perfect bed companion, not taking up to much room, starting out on top of the cover, but soon burrowing under the covers to snuggle up all night long. Her intelligence is evident in her quickness to learn and adjust to new adventures.
