Hi, my name is "Charli" with an i! I'm a 3 to 5 year old Rat Terrier, and I'm the sweetest girl that you will ever meet. I'm not sure how I ended up all alone, but I spent a while wandering the streets of Charleston, trying to find someone to help me. One day someone came to get me and took me to this big building full of other dogs and nice people. I watched a lot of dogs go to their forever homes, but because I have these icky things called "heartworms" and "flea allergies", I couldn't go home with anyone. I was a shelter favorite, and was described as a "love bug" (whatever that means). I just like to be around people, and to give them kisses and snuggle with them. Maybe that's what a love bug is? Or maybe it's because I also love everyone, all dogs and I even like cats, and everyone tells me that I am super sweet and soft. I get along with my foster brothers and sisters fine, and I think I must have had a loving home at some point in my life, as I seem to be potty trained. I had to get a heartworm shot recently that hurt real bad, and I think that I may have to get another one soon because my foster mom tells me that I can't go to my forever home until June.... but you could apply now, because you won't find a sweeter gal than me! I can't wait to find my forever home and show my new family how wonderful I am! Can I come live with you? Here are some pictures of me. Aren't I pretty?
