Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is six year old Ali. she is an absolute sweetie pie!!! She has lived with other dogs for her whole life but she would love to have all the attention - she is such a snuggler-don't they all! Ali is a typical Jack Russell Terrier who is full of energy. This sweet girl does well in her crate with her chew toys. Like many dogs, she does not like the sound of a vaccuum!
Ali is very loving with children above the age of ten and adults, but not recommended with younger children. She is spayed and up to date with all her shots. Ali was purchased right here in Maine and she is a purebred girl. She needs a home where she can get the attention and love she deserves.
Ali is is great with cats and other dogs.
Here is what her foster mom has to say: "Honestly, I wasnt too excited to foster a small dog. I had the stereotype of a yappy, lap loving, nipping dog in my mind. Ali has so proven that all wrong! She may be small, but she loves adventure, fun and cuddle time too. I think Alis dream home would have a doggy door where she could come in and out as she pleases. She loves to be outside and mostly she loves to be exploring the stonewalls around our home for chipmunks and other small creatures. She really enjoys our daily walks and she loves to play fetch in the yard. She wasnt the least bit intimidated by our hundred pound lab and was wagging her tail as he came up to her. She also loves to go for car rides and in our situation, jeep rides. The wind and noise only make her smile even more. This is not the kind of girl that just wants to sit on your lap (unless shes tired) she wants to go out there and see things. I can totally imagine her with people that like to hike or just like to take their dog with them when they go somewhere. Shes been all over with us and there hasnt been one person, animal or thing that she hasnt responded well to. Out of all the dogs we have fostered she is by far the easiest and most well adjusted dog we have had. Once shes had enough she does like to cuddle though, right up close to Casey! She likes to play with toys and even though all our dog toys are for a big dog she still plays with them. She drags along a ball that is bigger then she is so we can throw it again. She does have a lot of energy, but we have found that as long as we take her out to play and for walks she does great and settles down in her crate at night. I really want this girl to find the perfect family, I know she will make them happy."
**Please note: we do not have a physical location, we are supported by a network of wonderful foster homes that are spread throughout New England. A dog will need to be visited by a prospective adopter in the foster home where they are feeling safe and comfortable.**
We would love to find Ali loving home. Please visit our web site to find out about our adoption process.
