My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Brisco, I am a shy boy but I am trying to come out of my shell, the folks here love me and talk to me all the time, but I think I need a stable forever home where I can get to know my house folk and settle down. There are so my people and cats and kittens coming and going that I get a little nervous. But I am a great cat and I would like to prove that if you would give me a chance. I use my little box , I am never late for dinner and I love treats.
Please come visit me and take me home.

You can call the shelter for an appointment to meet me, or come to PetSmart in Conyers or Bethlehem for a meet and greet.

None of us are exactly at our very best at PetSmart, but that's just because we're used to having lots of love and fun at our shelter home and going to PetSmart with all the loud noises and bright lights is a little scary. Still, you can see how handsome I am and that I'd be really great as your new forever best friend.

At Altered Feral State, we work with feral cat colonies. All of our kittens were removed from the colonies and completely socialized when they are less than 8 weeks old. We don't offer them for adoption until they have been tested, vaccinated and spayed or neutered.

Our adoption fee of $75 only covers a very small portion of our costs, but to us, it's all about finding the best home for these wonderful kitties.
