We got Peshi out of Animal Control, she was abused and frightened by humans, along with being starved half to death. With all the love and tender care our volunteers have show Peshi she has made a remarkable turn around. Peshi helps her shelter dad quite a lot, she waits for him by the door. She is a good girl and sometimes if we just reach out to touch her head she still gets a little scared, but we found if we just stroke her back she is accepting.
Please if you could give this beautiful girl a chance , we think she will come completely out of her shell and be the most loving cat , she just needs someone who understands cats.
You can call the shelter for an appointment to meet me, or come to PetSmart in Conyers or Bethlehem for a meet and greet.
None of us are exactly at our very best at PetSmart, but that's just because we're used to having lots of love and fun at our shelter home and going to PetSmart with all the loud noises and bright lights is a little scary. Still, you can see how handsome I am and that I'd be really great as your new forever best friend.
At Altered Feral State, we work with feral cat colonies. All of our kittens were removed from the colonies and completely socialized when they are less than 8 weeks old. We don't offer them for adoption until they have been tested, vaccinated and spayed or neutered.
Our adoption fee of $75 only covers a very small portion of our costs, but to us, it's all about finding the best home for these wonderful kitties.
