Nemo's Story...
Hi, I'm Nemo and I'm a happy go lucky pup. I was born under a porch with my 6 other brothers and sisters in a town up near the Florida /Georgia state line. My mom was a stray who took care of us for 4 weeks and then Paws 4 Humanity Inc stepped in and found foster families to care for us and spoil us. We are all happy, healthy and fun loving pups looking for our forever homes. We are now 13 weeks old and the woman who rescued us says we have mainly Labrador Retriever and some Chow and maybe some Weimaraner in us. With my beautiful coat I may even have some golden retriever in me.

My foster parents tell me I'm a very smart puppy and catch on to new things fast. I already know a few basic things, like sit, down, stay and come but at the same time am an energetic pup. Sometimes I just to sit an have quiet time with my family, but don't think I don't have my moments! :)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nemo, a Jacksonville Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow for sale in Jacksonville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow puppy from a breeder in Jacksonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jacksonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jacksonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jacksonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
