Lucille's Story...
Well hello there sugars! I am Lucille & I am a vibrant Boxer/Mastiff mix. I am a hyperactive vixen of only 14 months. I was turned into the shelter by my guardian who was no longer able to care for me. Initially it looked as though my heart was broken and that I might not recover, but recover I did! I am playful, happy, silly & sweet. I like to draw attention with my flighty, flirty ways. I know some basic commands & would like to learn more. I really am a dream girl. If you are ready to take on all that I have to give, then what are you waiting for? Come meet my sugar plum self in person!

Act quickly to adopt Lucille. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucille, a Huntington Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Huntington, or seeking a Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Huntington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntington paves the way for another one to be saved.
