Watson's Info...

I am already neutered, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Watson's Story...
Watson is a wonderful 10-year-old cat. His momma passed away and no one in the family could take him. He is very quiet and sweet. He is having trouble with his pancreas, so he is on a daily medication. It gets crushed up and added to his wet food and he gobbles it right up, so it is very easy to give him his pills. Do you have the time for this sweet boy? He is neat, clean and quiet, really no trouble at all. Come meet him, or some of our other special needs cats, if you have a large enough heart and a free enough time schedule, the rewards of helping these special guys will fill you with joy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Watson, a Chester Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chester, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Chester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chester paves the way for another one to be saved.
