Sadie is a beautiful 2-year-old Shepherd/lab mix. She lives peacefully cats, a bird and ferret. She is a very smart girl who knows how to walk nicely on her lead and knows many commands. Sadie is housebroken and crate-trained as well. Sadie is a GREAT retriever and loves to play frisbee too! She takes to learning new things well and enjoys an occasional treat, which she takes gently from your hand.

Sadie bonds quickly and loves to be near her people. She is an active girl who should be adopted by someone who enjoys daily walks or jogs as she is at her very best when she has had at least 30 minutes of exercise. A tired dog is a good dog, as the saying goes!

Sadie is a girl who needs positive reinforcement on greeting new dogs or humans, especially excitable ones. Her foster family is working with her and teaching her "down-stay". She is learning to settle down much more quickly and has made great strides in this area. She is a girl who really just wants to please her people.
