Harley's Story...
If you are looking for a sweet natured, fun-loving dobe to go hiking with or just to have fun with, Harley may be your man. Harley is a 3 year old black/rust, natural eared, docked male dobe. He loves everyone he meets and is very smart and eager to please people. Harley is a nice size weighing in at 65 pounds. He likes to play ball with his humans or is happy to be by your side to keep you company. Harley also loves his squeaky toys. He has a favorite one that he always picks up when he is going outside but he is very gentle and never damages it. Harley loves to run so a decent sized yard would be nice. Due to an earlier fracture in his front leg that has healed but left one leg slightly shorter than the other, Harley shouldn’t be used as a jogging partner. Not that it slows him down any though. Harley loves to run and would be very happy to go hiking and on long walks with you. Harley is house and crate trained and rides quietly in the car. He likes to play with other dogs and would love to have a female doggie playmate. He has a bit too much interest in my cat so no kitties for Harley. He is such a sweet natured boy that he would make a great family dog for a dog savvy family. Harley is a great dog looking for a home where he gets lots of love. Give me a call or email to learn more about Harley. For more information about Harley, check out his webpage at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harley, a Arlington Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
