Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sully the silly, that's me! I am a young Formosan Mountain dog mix, born September 2009, who is playful and looking for a new family to share the rest of my life loving and playing. My current family can no longer take care of me as my dad lost his job and they have a baby on the way. They describe me as sweet and smart, playful and friendly. I can be a bit shy at first but am very gentle and affectionate once I know you are friendly. I am a great size at 35 pounds.
I like to play fetch and go for walks, but know how to calm down and relax with you, too. Actually, I rather enjoy sunbathing. I like to swim and go for car rides where I am quiet and relaxed. When I get really excited I "talk" to you. I am crate- and potty-trained and am trustworthy alone in the house.
I live with a dog and a cat sibling right now and should be fine with any fur-siblings and older children in a new home. I used to get nervous going into stores, but am getting more comfortable there so keep taking me to safe places and watch me blossom!
My manners are great but my confidence would benefit with some training classes - and that will help me bond that much stronger with my new humans.
If you are looking for a new little buddy to play and share in your activites...well, I am too! So please pick me and give me a chance to shine like the superstar I am!

All of our animal companions are in foster homes, so visits are arranged with the foster family. To set up a time to meet one of our animal companions, we must first have a completed application on file.

Please note that we do not adopt animal companions out to homes that show signs of indoor smoking. Adoption fee: $125
Adoption package: All animal companions adopted out of our foundation will have had a Well Pet Exam, be current on vaccines (cats: FVRCP, Rabies; dogs: DHPP, Rabies) according to age, treated for worms, fleas, and/or ear mites, and micro-chipped. Cats will be tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and cats 6+ months of age will be tested for FeLV & FIV. Animal companions will be neutered/spayed prior to or post adoption depending on his/her age.
