This little girl will light up your life! Lightning is very smart , knows all basic commands such as sit-stay, down and fetch. What a great dog! Lightning is approximately one year old. We are unsure of her genetic makeup, but it does appear that she has some Australian Cattle Dog in her. She is beautiful!
Lightning's foster in the south shares that Lightning is such a sweet girl. She lives with another dog and they get along beautifully. Lightning loves to sit atop her dog house like Snoopy and watches things from there. She is a huge fan of the water and loves to swim. The first time Lighting was around children, she was a little nervous, but once she sniffed them and got to know them she wanted to play. Her floppy ears and cute personality will capture you the second you meet her! Lightning loves to chew on rawhide bones.
Lightning is a big ball of fun! We would love to see Lighting with a family that could give her plenty of their time. She is great with kids and just wants to play, play, play. She is an excellent dog and we are so glad our southern partner saved her life. She truly deserves it!
Lightning has arrived in Maine! She weighs just under 50 pounds. Her foster mom says that she is is crate trained and completely housetrained and will sit in front of the door to wait to go outside. She takes quickly to other people and other dogs , and is getting along well with her foster dog brother. She is living with three cats and seems to take them in stride. Her tail never stops wagging and she loves to play! She does not mind having a bath and being groomed. She is a very loving and friendly dog. Lightning is so ready for her forever home and will make a fantastic addition to a lucky household.
