Reba's Story...
Reba is a very sweet 8 month old girl. She needs some firm training but without a loud voice, she was disciplined harshly and will splatter on the ground if you yell loud. She has tons of energy that needs to be focused. She loves her cuddling time, since she rarely had any of it in her previous home. She does well on lead, she loves to give her foster Dad's cat a bath with her tongue, that was after Bart the cat used her as a trampoline to tease her. She does very well with other dogs. Reba is also an escape artist, wanting to be with her people, so a secure yard is a must. If someone might have the time and energy to continue training this gal, she will make you a wonderful loyal companion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Reba, a Hamilton German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Hamilton, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Hamilton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hamilton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hamilton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hamilton paves the way for another one to be saved.
