Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lucy is a sweet heart.
She has basenji colors, but the floppy ears of an English Terrier. Lucy could also have some German shorthaired pointer in her, but she isn’t that big. To make her really an unusual mix, she has a body a bit more like a gray hound or miniature grey hound…
Lucy is wonderful with kids – in fact, her foster home has two little boys and a cat and she is really great with all of them.
She is housebroken, understands most commands and loves her bones – she absolutely has to have something in her mouth all the time, so she loves playing with her toys and chew toys are the best!
Lucy has a lot of energy and needs a run every day she also LOVES the water. She loves her foster parents’ swimming pool and she is always in it. The hose, sprinklers -- anything that gets water on her makes her happy. She would be perfect for anyone who likes to go the beach and/or run with their dog.
She just learned how to fetch and is pretty good with catching a Frisbee now too...someone who wants a dog to take to the beach and play Frisbee with and has the time to devote to those things would be perfect for her.
She loves other animals. She plays with our cat all the time... She is really great with other animals, and really wants to play. She is not the alpha dog in any situation.
Her health is great, and her adoption covers everything – she is very fun little 1 year old and will make a great buddy for an active family.
