Jade's Story...
Jade is a sweet, gentle soul. This big world can be a bit scary for her - loud noises, sudden movements and strange dogs can make her jumpy. Once she knows you or the dog then she becomes very animated, playful and loving. She enjoys sitting in your lap, watching the world go by with not a care in the world. Or if a favorite doggie friend comes by, she perks up and happily trots off for a game of play.

Jade has made great strides in her socialization since we rescued her. With more time, love and patience we expect her to continue to relax.... Jade will need a quiet home with another gentle, playful dog. Jade is an easy going gal is eager to start living her life in her forever home. So if you think you have the home that Jade is looking for, please fill out an application for this little black beauty today - www.azrescue.org.

Jade weighed 9.4 pounds when we saved her from the kill list.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jade, a Phoenix Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
