Ozzie--adopted!!'s Story...
This laid back boy is Ozzie, an 11 month old blue doberboy with natural ears and a docked tail. He can be a little apprehensive with strangers but warms up quickly and is an absolute sweetheart. He was surrendered with his sister, Alexis, due to their family not having enough time for them. They have been around kids of all ages and done well. They are currently living with cats in their foster home and, although they would not harm them, they would chase after them if given the chance. We are working on putting weight onto both of them as they are pretty skinny. As any young dog, he would benefit from some obedience classes and should pick it up quickly as he is a very smart doberboy. He's eager for some love and some attention and will make a great and affectionate addition to any family. Although Alexis and Ozzie came in together, they can be adopted separately.

REMINDER: We require our adopters to have a fenced yard.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ozzie--adopted!!, a New Richmond Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in New Richmond, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in New Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
