Autumn's Story...
Autumn is a very cute red long hair dachshund. She is 8 years old, and still loves to run and play. She is 1 of 10 that were recently taken into our rescue....(see additional information on each one). Autumn is still very active and has a very sweet personality. Autumn has not been spayed yet, but is on the schedule within the next two weeks. She is current on all her shots and we are working on house breaking issues. We are sure she has never lived in a house before. Autumn will run and bark at lawn mowers, and she barks during storms. Autumn is currently on a healthy diet to lose weight. If you would like more information on Autumn, or would like to fill out an application, please contact us at Autumn's adoption fee $250.00
UPDATE....Autumn has been spayed and is ready for her forever home. She has a very loving personality and is a beautiful LH doxie!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Autumn, a Ft. Myers Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Ft. Myers, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Ft. Myers.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ft. Myers already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ft. Myers breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ft. Myers paves the way for another one to be saved.
