My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"FLY" - this purebred Border Collies came into the Upper Valley Humane Society with her son Tippy. Tippy was placed by them, and Fly came into rescue.

She is 2 years old and has not yet been spayed - she'll be spayed before placement. She has lots of herding drive and doesn't know how to play fetch. She runs the fence trying to chase cars.

Fly is very social and friendly, but very sensitive, as Border Collies often are, and somewhat skittish. She seems to need a lot of reassurance and would probably benefit from a basic obedience class that uses positive reinforcement. She is a dominant female with other dogs, and guards resources, but is good with cats and very affectionate with people.

Fly has just come into rescue and we are still evaluating her. She is being fostered in New Hampshire and will not be available until after the first of the year, but we will begin taking applications for her now.

You MUST first fill out an adoption application.
