Pirate is a one-and-a-half-year-old Border Collie / Corgi mix. He is Mr. Personality. He's seriously one of the cutest dogs this rescuer has ever seen, mainly, because though it's a bit hard to tell by way of photos, he's pretty low to the ground. Pirate jets around, waddling and trotting with his short legs, and wagging his tail at everything and everybody. Pirate is a happy, upbeat, playful, affectionate, obedient, and very-people oriented dog. Though he can be vocal in his dog on dog play, he is extremely dog friendly. Once, when a small dog was attacking Pirate over and over (are not little dogs fearless?) Pirate just kept running away! Pirate walks well on the leash; he's crate-trained and potty-trained and weighs about 35-40 lbs. He is neutered, fully vaccinated and micro-chipped.
