Roscoe's Story...
Meet Roscoe! He came into our care as a stray full of nasty ticks. We took him into our vet to have him bathe and ticked free. Now Roscoe is a very happy boy and is an enjoyment to have in our care at this time. Roscoe is a loving, playful big puppy! You look into those eyes and just fall in love. Roscoe is a very smart boy eager to learn. Loves people, children as young as 4 years old. Roscoe gets along good with other dogs and loves to play ball. Roscoe likes to go for car rides and is at this time learning how to walk on a leash and is doing really good. He is also learning his house manner's and being crate trained. Roscoe is a fun happy boy, not a big barker but will alert you when someone is around that is a stranger to him. Roscoe is approximately 6 months old and is schedule to be Neutered on June 3,2011 Once that is done he can then go to his new for ever home. Roscoe is also up to date on his shots plus his Rabies and has been wormed. If you think you are the home for Roscoe please contact us for further adoption information and for an application. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roscoe, a Yakima St. Bernard dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a St. Bernard for sale in Yakima, or seeking a St. Bernard dog from a breeder in Yakima.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Yakima already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Yakima breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even St. Bernard breeders who help with St. Bernard rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Yakima paves the way for another one to be saved.
