Patches's Info...

Patches's Story...
: 11-16-06 Patches has just arrived. Recently retired from a commercial breeder, his DOB is 04-11-05. He was shaved down prior to his picture being taken. When his coat grows back in he will be all Shih Tzu in looks!

Patches visited Doc weighing in at 15 1/2 lbs., healthy little fur-man.

Patches is H/W, Lyme, Ehrlichia neg., has been fully vaccinated including Rabies, was neutered, is microchipped. A dental was not needed as he is young, his teeth are quite clean.

Patches was shaved down while under anesthesia at Doc's.
Patches then stopped by Grooming Precious Paws, a new groomer in Cole Camp, for a quick bath.
Patches will be evaluated to determine his likes & dislikes, including the cat test.

Cat test completed! No problem! Only showed a tiny bit of curiosity.

As evening wore on, Patches showed us he knows what toys are for. He obviously was well cared for by the breeder. This is very good news for his future family. He knows how to play and will be right at home in YOUR home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Patches, a Cole Camp Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Cole Camp, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Cole Camp.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cole Camp already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cole Camp breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cole Camp paves the way for another one to be saved.
