Danny's Story...
Danny was rescued from a High Kill shelter in Bakersfeild CA.
He was in foster care for 6 months in CA but unfortunaly Chihuahua's don't have a very good chance of being adopted there due to the vast numbers available from back yard breeders and puppy mills.
Danny arrived in Saskatoon, SK with Size Small Dog Rescue just over a week ago. He is a very loving and kind dog, perfect lap dog as he like to be by your side or on your lap.
Great with kids and dogs of all sizes.

UTD on alll his shots abd Neutered.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Danny, a Saskatoon Chihuahua/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Saskatoon, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Saskatoon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saskatoon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saskatoon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saskatoon paves the way for another one to be saved.
