Boo's Story...
Boo is one of three kittens rescued from a neglectful situation. She is the drop dead gorgeous girl of the three siblings! I'm told she is a brown tabby but I think she looks exotic. She has orange highlights in her coat that really shine in the light. Boo is the most outgoing of the three & purrs like a motor boat. She is the first one to come & greet you. She loves to spend time with her people & play with her brothers. Don't let her beauty fool you this gal is no sissy she can hold her own against the boys! I was told when she was first rescued that the vets didn't think she would make it. Well look at her now, you wouldn't even know that she had such a bad start in life! We would like Boo to be adopted together with one of her brothers, or into a home with an existing feline playmate.

If Boo has stolen your heart, please call RJ at 403-837-7442.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boo, a Okotoks Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Okotoks, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Okotoks.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Okotoks already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Okotoks breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Okotoks paves the way for another one to be saved.
