Yuppie's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, and declawed.

Yuppie's Story...
Driving a BMW is not her style but she does have something slick, black and shiny to show off her immensely soft coat. This declawed beauty is a renowned lap cat, a relaxed companion, a champion purr-er and a very affectionate nuzzler. She is attracted to long hair and will nibble at it softly when you hold her. She loves to play in the evening when you arrive home from work and rubs your legs in greeting. Yuppie would love to join the urban oasis that you call home!

If you are interested in learning more about Yuppie, or know someone who might be interested, please contact Toni McNaughton at tonimcn@rcn.com or 312.855.1225, or Lisa Ward at eward@spencerstuart.com.

We are always in need of foster homes. If you are not able to adopt, but are interested in fostering or know someone who might be, we would love to hear from you! Please contact Toni McNaughton at tonimcn@rcn.com or Lisa Ward at eward@spencerstuart.com to learn more.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Yuppie, a Chicago Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
