My story

Adult Female, Boston Terrier and Basenji Mix
Goldie is currently in a Sunrise Foundation foster home but is looking for a new foster home or adoptive home because she is playing too rough with the other dogs in her home.

Goldie originally came from a kill shelter in Salina, Kansas where she was scheduled to be euthanized because of multiple health issues. She had tooth, skin and eye issues that have all been resolved.

She is now a happy girl who has lots of energy but enjoys curling up into a ball to sleep in her kennel, too.  She likes to toss her chew toys around. She gets very excited to go on walks and needs to be on a gentle lead harness, she loves riding in the car. She is average weight but this girl loves, loves, loves food – so treats are the way to get this baby girl’s attention to do just about anything that you ask. She likes to lounge around next to her person and should be crated when left alone. She is extraordinarily sweet and affectionate with people and tends to do best with bigger dogs.

Goldie is house-trained, up-to-date on her shots, spayed, micro-chipped and ready to find her forever home. If you would like to meet her, fill out an application and email it to Sunrise. She was born around May 07 and she weighs 25 pounds. $75 to a wonderful home.
