MAVERICK in Mesa, AZ.'s Story...
Maverick is another word for Velcro. This sweet little Griff wants to be with you 24/7. Not just in the same room, but as close as he can get. Would you like a constant companion? Then Maverick is your man! Would you like someone who fawns over you? Then look no further! A walking buddy? Of course! A perfect bed mate? Ah-ha! Someone who literally eats at your feet? I'm telling you, Maverick is the one for you.

Maverick is 2 years old, weighs 10 pounds, is drop-dead gorgeous, has the most beautiful liquid brown eyes, and is extremely generous with his kisses. He will sit in your lap all day, or beside you, if you wish. He loves to go for car rides and travels well on long trips. His plans can change at the drop of a hat to accommodate yours, as long as he can accompany you.

Now for the things that Maverick requires: He needs someone who is home most of the time. He can be left alone only for short periods of time because he has separation anxiety. (It's a Griff thing so please don't think you can work it out.) He is afraid of most men and prefers women. He needs a large wire crate, not a plastic kennel, if you must leave him.

Someone who works from home or who is retired would be perfect. No kids please, but another dog or two his size who love to play and run are important. Maverick loves to run so a securely fenced back yard is a necessity, not a luxury. He is a flight risk, so he must be securely harnessed & leashed on walks and crated in the car.
Cats are okay as long as they don't mind being chased -- in a loving way, of course.

Maverick is located in the Phoenix metro area.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger. Under no circumstances can our dogs ever be shipped in cargo.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MAVERICK in Mesa, AZ., a Mesa Brussels Griffon dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Brussels Griffon for sale in Mesa, or seeking a Brussels Griffon dog from a breeder in Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Brussels Griffon breeders who help with Brussels Griffon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
