I am already spayed and up to date with shots.

Monarch's Story...
Monarch is mostly black, with white paws and whiskers. But most importantly, she wears her HART on her chest! Literally, she has a heart-shaped white patch in the middle of her chest, showing you just how much love she has to give! She is one of four litter mates. She is very sweet, but simply cannot resist playing! Monarch is still a bit shy but coming around. She loves to play in the bathtub. She is spayed and ready to go to her forever home!

All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative.

Please complete an online Cat Adoption Application (available at www.rescueahart.org) so we can put you in touch with this feline's foster family so you can meet. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Monarch, a Cincinnati Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
