My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Do you like taking leisurely strolls and car rides with the windows down? If so then please, read on..... Pretty really wants to find her new family! We were told that she spent most of her life in a kennel, but she acts like she has been loved by someone and treated like a family dog before and she knows how to sit and shake and is very well behaved in the house. Pretty is a sweet and gentle girl and a wonderful companion, she loves to go for walks and loves to be with people. She also is a big fan of car rides! She is such a beautiful loving girl and we just know that her perfect home is waiting for her somewhere. Pretty does get along with some other dogs but can be dominant (typical cattle dog!) so it is probably best for her to be an only dog. She is not dog aggressive, as she does great when we go on group walks and shows no interest what so ever in starting trouble with the other dogs, but it would take the right match if she were to live full time with another dog. We have not had her around cats so we do not know how she would do with them. She has been great with the 12 year old+ volunteers she has met here and on the occasion that she was around young children she eagerly greeted them with kisses. Still, she may do best in a home where the energy level is a bit more subdued and without small children.
