My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Beau is smart and very eager to please, handsome and wonderfully behaved in the house. Beau is absolutely 100% housebroken and knows all about the rules of the house (he is the kind of boy that you can leave an open bag of dog food on the floor and he will not touch a bite until you give it to him). Beau loves to walk, loves to romp and play and loves to play with other fun-loving pups. Beau has some cute shar pei style wrinkles and polka dotted feet,. He would love to go for long walks in the woods, be your running partner or just curl up for hugs on the couch.

Whoever decides to give this guy a chance will have a wonderful companion who wants nothing more than to have someone to love, please and even protect! We do think that at some time in his life Beau was not treated well by humans as he sometimes shows a flinch or a crouch in response to certain sounds or movements. He has learned that most people really are good and he really wants to trust them. For this reason we are recommending that Beau go to a home that is experienced in owning dogs who need an assertive and loving approach and will understand how to gain his trust and show him affection while at the same time making sure he understands who is the boss and what his limits are. We know he will be a wonderful addition when he finds his special person.
