Chopper was rescued by a kind Samaritan and is now healthy enough to finally go home. This sweet boy was originally found as a stray and rescued out of a high kill shelter lucky for him he is alive and lucky for us to be around such a sweet, dedicated German shepherd! His foster mom did a wonderful job ensuring Chopper has the best care possible. Chopper would prefer a home without other dogs or small animals because he can be reactive and gets overally excited when being around other animals. We have worked on this behavior and he has come a long way but still would prefer him to go home to a retired couple that has grandchildren or someone that can devote all their time to this special guy. Chopper is crate trained and LOVES car rides, if you are seeking a travel companion, Chopper is your guy! This sweet boy is a wonderful Shepherd that even picks up on when someone is not feeling well. He LOVES children and would gladly take on the caretaker roll for anybody.
