Geronimo's Story...
Geronimo - kitten - 15 weeks of age - male - yellow tabby short coat

Geronimo is named for a beloved character in the Geronimo Stilton children's books series, and he does his best to live up to his name. He is a gentle, funny, outgoing, brave and trusting little guy.

Geronimo has a deep purr that begins to rumble the moment he makes eye contact; his faith and affection for people and animals are very touching. With his litter mates he is a comical and robust player, delighting in his well-planned pouncing ambushes. He is beautifully marked and his coloring is somewhere between yellow and apricot.

While still quite small, Geronimo already shows promise of become a lanky, leggy guy; he is pleased with a whole new range of movement that growing some leg has given him, which he is exploring by perfecting what he considers to be breathtaking leaps.

Geronimo has received his first 2 rounds of kitten shots and he has been wormed. His $125 adoption fee will cover his remaining booster shots, and his neuter when he is 6 months of age.

Geronimo, a Rockville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Rockville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Rockville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rockville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rockville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rockville paves the way for another one to be saved.
