Charlie's Story...
Meet Charlie who is about a year old, great on leash, house trained, crate trained and a great rider in the car. Charlie has also been trained to walk well on a leash. Would make someone a great running buddy and would also be happy to hang out with his companion watching T.V. . Likes to play to rough with smaller dogs but has been great with my bigger dogs. Chalie is 40 pounds, and doesn't realize his size yet. He is neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped. Unfortunately, Charlie was scalded on his back when he was young and has some scars and loss of fur in a small area on his back. Fortunately, this horrible treatment has not affected his personality. If you are interested in Charlie, please contact Carrie at memmes@sbcglobal.net for an application. adoption fee is $350.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie, a Adamsville Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Adamsville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Adamsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Adamsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Adamsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Adamsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
