Boo's Story...
Meet Boo Radley Pup! He is the youngest of the 4 golden retriever puppies that were saved from a backyard breeder. Boo is 5 months old, extremely friendly, ready to play and very much ready for his new home! He loves other dogs, seems to be ok with cats and is great with young children. He is a very smart boy too! He learned to walk on a leash in one day, is learning other basic commands but the most enjoyable thing is discovering toys! Boo would be best in a home with another confident dog so he can learn to the ropes and become more adjusted to the finer things in life instead of a muddy piece of land that he was rescued from.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boo, a Knoxville Golden Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Golden Retriever puppy from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
