My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Alegria and her 4 siblings were born on 4/13/11, and were surrendered to the shelter (along with their mother) when they were only 2 weeks old. They and mama-kitty Gizmo have been in foster care, and the kittens are now beginning the weaning process. They will all be spayed/neutered and ready for release around the last week of June.

The kittens are doing well, growing big and strong, under the care of their attentive mama kitty; they will all be together until it's time for the kittens to go to their new homes. Our volunteers are socializing the kittens, and these kittens will be fantastic family pets. They will do best in indoor-only homes, as they have never been outside.

This litter has three fun and frisky black and white boys, and this calico girl (a second has already been preadopted by an applicant on the waiting list).

Alegria will arrive neutered, wormed, microchipped and with all age-appropriate vaccinations. Adoption fee for Alegria is suggested minimum $58 (more gratefully accepted); discount for pair kitten adoptions!. All kittens are placed with a 3-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to both the Seattle area and Spokane, delivering adopted pets to their new owners.
