Brownie's Info...

Breed: Domestic Shorthair Color: Brown Tabby Age: Adult
Sex: Male Hair: Short
Brownie's Story...
Disposition: sweet

Brownie is our kitty casanova. He is friendly, sweet, and a social gadabout. He also looks like he's been to hell and back. His ear is tipped because he was trapped outside. His right eye has been damaged since birth. He has that roughed up look which hints at good old cat wisdom. Oh, the stories he must be able to tell!

Brownie came to us from another rescue group, one that specializes in feral cats, but Brownie is not feral so we were asked to find him a home and family.

This boy would thrive in a home with children and even other cats.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brownie, a The Colony Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in The Colony, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in The Colony.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in The Colony already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a The Colony breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in The Colony paves the way for another one to be saved.
