Candy's Story...
Carly and Candy are two of the sweetest little girls. Both suffer from an auto immune disease. They need someone to love them, keep the stress down in their lives and they will give you many years of companionship and joy! We will only adopt them out together because they have always been together and they find peace beingclose.
Candy is a beautiful and petite calico/torti mix. She is approx. one year old and weighs 7 lbs. Candace is an extremely gentle and quiet kitty. The only thing she insists on is that you hold her or pet her while you try to use the computer. Of the two sisters, Candy is the more outgoing. Candy has a recurring condition on the bridge of her nose. It becomes raw but the vet has assured us that it is not a serious condition and it does not seem to bother her at all. Candy is 4 paw declawed ,spayed and up to date on her immunizations and Neg for FIV and FELV.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Candy, a Jenkintown Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Jenkintown, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Jenkintown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jenkintown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jenkintown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jenkintown paves the way for another one to be saved.
