I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Sparky's Story...
Sparky was rescued as a tick-laden stray. He was observed racing across a plowed field and when the car stopped, he came to his rescue party for a ride back to the shelter. Happy-go-lucky personality. Sparky weighs 25 pounds and is about one and one half years old.. He has been neutered and had his rabies shot and is currently in a foster home, actually the doggy RITZ with a fenced in yard, lush green grass and someone to throw a tennis ball for him. His foster Dad says: Thus far he appears housebroken, crate trained, loves to play with toys, gets along well with other dogs, happy, fit and seems like a real nice dog.
Since Sparky is NOT at the shelter, PLEASE E-MAIL: mulvaney@tds.net to set up an appt to meet this fun dog and also to see more photos - those ears are comical - he could become a star.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sparky, a Glenwood Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Glenwood, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Glenwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glenwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glenwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glenwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
