Jumanji, or JuJu as she is affectionately called, is a two year old female umbrella cockatoo. At two years of age she is still very much a baby. She’s energetic and funny and very much the cuddly lump of feathers so many people seek in a companion parrot. Her ideal home will be one that understands how to properly raise such a young cockatoo. As she matures she will require a firm, yet loving hand, that can guide her through adolescence. Failure to accomplish this properly can result in a bird that develops some very undesirable behaviors such as incessant screaming, feather destructive behaviors, biting and in rare cases self mutilation. Raised properly, she will be a long lived compassionate companion that will be a treasured family member. If you have cockatoo experience and are up to the challenge of raising a baby, then JuJu may be the bird for you!
