Shirley's Story...
Hello I am Shirley, one of the 3 little babies that were born January 21st, 2011, Our mom and a total of 8 puppies were put outside up north and one of us died from the cold. A wonderful person saved 7 of us. 3 of us made it to TLC Canine Rescue in a small cat carrier which none of us will fit in now.

TLC got us when we were 4 days old and had bottle fed us

I am a little girl and love to be with my masters as my siblings do. I give lots of kisses and because I am the smallest I get beat up, but I am a fiesty one when I need to be. If you would like to meet me fill out a pre app on our main web at www.tlccaninerescue.com and email back to us.

All our companions are Micro Chipped, Vaccinated, Altered, Heartworm and Lyme Tested before adopted

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shirley, a Brooklyn Park Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Brooklyn Park, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Brooklyn Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
