Jenny's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Jenny's Story...
Jenny belonged to a neighbor who kept her in a 10X20 dog run. She had an ACL (Achilles tendon) tear and they were unable to have it repaired. So I took Jenny into our rescue although we usually only take small breed dogs. Within 24 hours, Jenny was house trained. She is now happy and well mannered. She gets along well with all the other dogs. Jenny's first ACL surgery failed, so she still needs to get her ACL surgery again, and we are saving up to pay the $3,000 to have it done.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jenny, a Plain City Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Plain City, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Plain City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plain City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plain City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plain City paves the way for another one to be saved.
