Ava's Info...

Ava's Story...
Ava is a wonderful animal. She has a very long and athletic build. Her coat is beautiful and she is a very nice looking dog. Ava is a Great Dane and Mastiff mix. She just turned a year old so she is very young. She is a happy dog and eager to please. She had been living with a small Pug and a cat so she does well with other dogs and with cats too. She needs someone with some time to spend with her. She is kennel trained and will go in at night for a treat. Ava eats well and is a good dog. She does very well in a car and is learning how to walk nicely on a leash too. Ava does not bark hardly at all even if you leave her out in the yard for a while but she will let you know when a stranger comes to the house.

If you are searching for a nice large dog for yourself or your family then this dog would be a wonderful choice. Our rescue has had her FULLY vetted and she is ready to go to her new forever home!

If you are interested in her please email courtneyvalent@hotmail.com to get your adoption application emailed to you. Be sure to write AVA in the subject line of the email so it does not get caught in our junk-mail filter. We look forward to hearing from you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ava, a Salamanca Great Dane/Mastiff dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane/Mastiff for sale in Salamanca, or seeking a Great Dane/Mastiff dog from a breeder in Salamanca.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salamanca already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salamanca breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane/Mastiff breeders who help with Great Dane/Mastiff rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salamanca paves the way for another one to be saved.
