My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Please note: we do not have a physical location, we are supported by a network of wonderful foster homes that are spread throughout New England. A dog will need to be visited by a prospective adopter in the foster home where they are feeling safe and comfortable.**

Otis has found his way north and also into his foster mom's heart! She says that he is so sweet and a cuddlebug too. He is doing well with the dogs that he has met and he is so smart that he has already figured out how to use the dog door! She says that he is not a beggar for food. He loves people he has met, including kids. He he shown curiosity around the cats he is living with but is not aggressive toward them at all, just wants to play. He would be a great family dog! The best situation for Otis will be in a household with another dog.

Otis, his brother Grover and sister Honeysuckle have recently come into rescue. We know that mom is a 30-pound teeny terrier mix. And we DO know that they are extremely cute!

Otis has always been the most laid back pup of them all. He is very much the want-to-be-in-your- lap dog. He is like an old man in a puppy body. Now, he does still love to run and play with his siblings and the other dogs where he lives. He gets along fine with everyone. When introduced to a kitty he really wasn't too interested. We call him, affectionately,...the Flying Nun dog. We love him but ya have to admit those ears are....well they remind you of Sally Field in the Flying Nun! He is a sweet, sweet boy.

Otis' foster mom thinks he should go to a family with kids. He sleeps with her 13-year-old daughter every night. He loves to be with his humans - someone who does not work long hours would be best for this sweet boy. He gets along with all other dogs, cats and everything else that he meets! He loves to steal blankets and shoes (he is a pup after all!) when you are not looking and still chews on a few things now and then. Normal puppy behavior. The ideal home would be a house with kids, another dog and very little alone time.
