Malinko's Story...
Malinko is a loving and handsome boy who is long overdue for a home of his own. Adopted from a shelter in GA at the age of 8 weeks, Malinko was returned 8 years later when the family moved and couldn’t take him with them. Due to his size, the shelter was not able to find an adopter for him. So Malinko traveled north to Kodi’s Club and has been in rescue since then. Malinko lives with several other dogs, male and female, in a foster home. He is a sweet natured boy who loves attention, especially having his butt scratched! He will dance in place and back into you if you stop. Malinko is a very people oriented boy. When visitors come over, he quickly sees it as an opportunity for more butt scratches! Malinko prefers to dine alone, but other than that is quite social. With his thick gorgeous coat, Malinko looks like he’s floating when he moves about. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Malinko, a Frederick Rottweiler/Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/Collie for sale in Frederick, or seeking a Rottweiler/Collie dog from a breeder in Frederick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Frederick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Frederick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/Collie breeders who help with Rottweiler/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Frederick paves the way for another one to be saved.
