Callie's Info...

I am good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Callie's Story...
She was pregnant when she came to me, but has some issues with other cats in general. She is tolerant of my nutered house cat and my own dogs as long as they dont pay attention to her. It may be because she had babies, and she may come out of that since they have been placed in new homes. She is not terrible aggressive towards other cats but make it well aware she is not happy about them. Again, she has not issues with litterbox use, she is loving towards people and is a generally well balanced cat. A little quirky with a fondness for table food and counters. Aside from that she is a great little girl. She lost some weight during nursing, but is currently plumping back up. and she has a bob tail. It is actually kinda cute. if you would be interested in meeting her, please email mary at corvetteluver01@yahoo.com or alicia at a.jgreathouse@hotmail.com Most of our dogs come from very high kill rural area shelters. Most have been neglected and/or abused, so please consider giving a loving new home to one of our wonderful pets...you will be repaid with years of love and devotion. TRANSPORT CAN LIKELY BE ARRANGED TO AN APPROVED HOME. Thanks for looking! I need a sponsor! If you can't adopt, please consider sponsoring a needy dog. For a small donation, you can help cover food and vet costs for these homeless animals!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Callie, a Paintsville Calico cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Paintsville, or seeking a Calico cat from a breeder in Paintsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Paintsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Paintsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Paintsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
