Lucy's Story...
Lucy was picked up as a stray with her 4 babies by a local animal shelter. All of Lucy's babies got adopted and poor Lucy sat patiently by herself for someone to come and save her. Rescued Friends came to her rescue! Lucy is approximately 1 1/2 years old. With people all Lucy wants to do is cuddle and lick you. Lucy LOVES to play with other dogs her size but she can be a little uneasy around larger dogs. She will whine at cats but doesn't try to chase them. Lucy walks great on a leash and she enjoys going on walks. She is also housebroken and crate trained. Lucy is fully vetted which includes; spayed, all vaccines, heartworm negative, kept on heartworm prevention, and microchipped.
Adoption fee is $150.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy, a Arlington Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
