Bart's Story...
Meet Bart!

He is a mellow 7 year old neutered male mixed breed. Bart walks great on leash, with a very smooth gait and no pulling. Bart likes to talk to you, he is wonderful with people, and rides well in the car. He doesn't really enjoy spending time in his crate as he would rather be with you. Bart postures to other dogs but this is not serious and should go away after getting accustomed to his surroundings. It is important that Bart be exercised regularly to control this behavior. He is also a bit of a chewer and can play to rough when he gets excited. Here again, exercise will help. Bart would do best in a home where he can get regular exercise and attention. Once his forever family has set boundaries, Bart will make a terrific companion.

If Bart seems like the dog for you and you would like to meet him or learn more about him, please contact Bonnie at 382-0396 .

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bart, a Wasilla Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Wasilla, or seeking a Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Wasilla.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wasilla already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wasilla breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wasilla paves the way for another one to be saved.
