Here's what the humans have to say about me:
03/03/07: Adopted!!!!
1/27/07- I am in a foster home now and still looking for my forever home. Won't you be my valentine? Please email haveaheartdogres@aol.com for an adoption application.
If you can't adopt me, can you foster me? Please help me get out of the pound.
Hunter is about a 1-2 years old. Hunter will be brought up to date on shots (distemper, Bordatella, & Rabies), microchipped, neutered, heartworm tested, on heartworm prevention prior to adoption.
Hunter is extremely Urgent and in a rural shelter and can be transported to our rescue upon an approved application for him.
Notes from the shelter:
Hunter is a beatiful Bluetick Coonhund! Hunter must have wondered his way away from his owner while hunting because no one has claimed him. He was picked up as a stray and someone then tied him to a tree. Hunter loves to sniff the ground. He needs some leash manners but i am guessing that he hunts and is not used to being on a leash. But that is my guess. If you are interested in giving Hunter a forever home please contact us asap by email.
Hunter's adoption Donation is $200.00, please help him get out of the shelter/pound before it is too late. He is scheduled to be put to sleep on Friday December 15th.
Email us at kkjenney@netscape.net for an adoption application.
Please Note: We will only return phone calls for people that have a good application with us. All questions must be by email. Serious inquiries only! Please see our website to learn more about our rescue. We are a rescue, not a shelter. We do not have a physical building. Appointments to see the dog you are interested in are made only AFTER an application is filed with us.
