Unnamed's Story...
This dog was abandoned at a shopping center in Sneads Ferry with a bag of dog food tied to his collar. (!) He was scanned for microchip, but he had none so I suppose he can be officially considered abandoned. He is approximately 1 1/2 years old and weighs in at about 60 lbs. He is an un-neutered male, very friendly, sociable, and apparently healthy. Please call 484 883 3552 for interest or questions. http://www.oc-paw.com/DONATE.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Unnamed, a Sneads Ferry Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Sneads Ferry, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Sneads Ferry.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sneads Ferry already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sneads Ferry breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sneads Ferry paves the way for another one to be saved.
